This was our first shoot working with Immersive Media, a Portland based company that has developed a 360 degree camera. Its basically 11 cameras mounted in a cylindrical orb. All 11 streams are fed into a backpack mounted, (or tripod mounted, car, etc), hard drive unit. Editors then “stitch” the streams together into a seamless virtual reality 360 degree shot. Pretty amazing stuff.

Shooting on campus with the custom, counterbalanced camera system

Very small adjustments to the counterbalance system really help it to float like a Steadicam

In the end zone at the Texas A&M football game
